ARDEN VALLEY ROAD RE-OPENED!

There is a short stretch of a lovely road with great twists and wonderful scenery in Harriman State Park in New York called Arden Valley Road. It is closed between December 1 and April 1 to keep the park from having to keep it clear of snow. Today, cold, light snow on the ground, it was reopened for my weekend ride. It was wonderful as always. Far to brief but far to fun to miss. Give it a ride if you are in the area. Worth it.

Always one of my destinations when in the area. Along with Perkins memorial drive and seven lakes rd. Now I'm getting the itch to get out there. Come on with the good weather.
