• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Arachnid Tires

Some of you may already be familiar with this, but there was a 1/2 page ad in the last Ryder magazine for "Replacement Tires for the Can-Am Spyder" placed by Metalsport, Inc. Their referenced website, https://metalsportwheels.com/product/arachnidtires/, listed them as "Vee Rubber Tires – Arachnid VTR 350". Is anyone familiar with these and whether they are any better than the Kendas and whether they are approved by Can Am?

I had one on the rear, fitted by the Can Am dealership themselves. It was better than the Kenda (bearing in mind that I'd rate the Kenda as the worst tyre I've had on anything), had a stiffer sidewall, and marginally better grip. It was the last MC rated tyre I had on my '17 RTL before going to Nanakangs and that was a huge improvement.

BRP is 110% for Kenda tires .... and NOTHING else - period ..... The Arachnid tire used the KENDA tire specs as their model, so IMHO they are no better than the Kenda's...... buy what makes you happy - I do ( +1, for Vredestein Q-5's )...... Mike
