• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Apartment Dwellers: Assure me outside storage is OK

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember the Spyder are not made of sugar! Mine and my wife's Spyder have been outside all their lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for this input. As of now I am Spyderless (still saving my $$$), but I too live in an apartment and have no garage. Glad to know my future Spyder will survive the elements. :spyder:

Just got my scoot, but I've had my Harley outside since I live in an apt- that's going on 5 yrs now. Never had any issue with the Roadking being covered outside, so my guess is your ride should be fine for 6 months. Just be sure to let it cool off before you cover it for the night so you don't get your cover burned on your pipe.

I'm moving to Georgia for 6 months. Every place with a garage is out of my budget or has too many hoops to jump through.

I've been offered half of a really cheap apartment, but that means the Spyder will be outside for 6 months. I will be getting the BRP outside storage cover, but I really hate that my baby will be exposed to the elements and to people.

Tell me it'll be OK.

You're in Georgia...great climate as it's mostly warm there 10 months a year...you should have no problems with the outside cover on it. I lived outside of Atlanta for 4 years many a moon ago...
