• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone's "fix to the fix" acting up?

Just had it done yesterday held out for a little while but will say
it ran great broke the sound barrier twice with it but only 50 miles
since update had to go to work :gaah:but I think they finaly got it:ohyea::ani29:

had mine done tuesday and rode home (about 70 miles) and no problems, seemed like I had my old bike back! Thanks BRP! So far no problems but like I said I just rode home. We are headed to Tennessee tomorrow so we shall see how it goes!

About this whole update to the update BRP has issued.. Maybe it's just me but I'm a bit confussed on this one.. When we talk about update to the update are we talking about the vent tube being re-routed from the canister? And if so does anyone have info on this one? Is this a manditory update that BRP has published? As always, thank you in advance.

Joe

Its the vent tube rerouting plus reflashing the programming to remedy the problems ( sputtering, backfiring) from the first upgrade. Had mine done, 400 miles so far, and no problems. As soon as this shower passes over, i'm off to Daytona for a better road test.

Only 200 miles since the update but things are running great. I guess I didn't realize how bad she was running on the first update since I had it done with only 600 miles of experience on the original program. The 2nd update really woke her up.

Did the second update on Wednesday just software as I did the vent myself. Took the long way home (150 miles) and all seem to be fine, for me I will not really tell if it was a fix for my problem till I get caught in stop&go traffic when it would start to miss and buck and with high 30's temp spydie will not be out much for a while.

Have put close to 400 miles on my spyder since the update I only have 1 thing to say :2thumbs: BRP. My :spyder2: is back.:ohyea:
