• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone willing to disable DESS on 2015 F3S around Cody WY

Looking to get my DESS disabled on a 2015 F3S. Getting bad key notice every so often. No need for DESS, not worried about theft. I'm 60 miles SE of Cody WY. Thanks

You might be able to get someone at the Vendor display at the Deadwood 3-Wheel Rally in early July. I think Squared Away will be there doing wheel alignments. Contact cptjam or Ann Meyer directly to validate if they could do it; both are on this forum and also on the FB Spyder groups.

I would go there, but I will be in Wisconsin from 2 July thru 17 July for the Iola Old Car show and to visit grandkids. If you know of someone before or after those dates who can turn off the DESS I would grateful. Thanks

My 2014 was giving same issue. went from once every so often to not starting for weeks. I called James Thorne, who was recommended on this site. Had to trailer 3+ hours to get there, but he had it taken care of in just a few minutes. I am once again confident (dangerous words) that it will not let me down on a trip. I first called the dealer where it was purchased, and they refuse to work on anything 10 years old or more. I asked if they could at least turn off the DESS; "Let me check with my manager!" - "No, we can't due to liability issues!" I think that's BS.
