• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone using Rain/storage covers? Which covers?

I wish I had read all the way to the bottom as I just ordered the Nelson-Rigg Can-Am RS Spyder Half Cover for touring with my 2020 Spyder RTL. I have the full cover for home, I will have to clear out the garage by next winter and move the snowblower out to make room for the Spyder.

I finally had a chance to use the UltraGard half cover on my 2019 RTL during the Hot Springs rally, and it rained a bit overnight one night. The next morning, I was very surprised to find a fairly wet seat, and water clinging to the inside of the top of the cover. (So I am pretty sure it wasn't just random rain that somehow blew in). For those of you with the UltraGard half cover, is this normal?

I have this one specifically: https://www.slingmods.com/can-am-spyder-rt-essentials-half-cover-ultragard?vehicle=1

Allen, I think the reason it happened in Hot Springs was condensation forming under the cover the next morning. I doubt your cover leaked at all. I had a few spots on my seat and a few spots of dampness on the inside of the cover.

Thanks, that could be. I would think there was enough airflow under there to prevent that though. I will keep the cover and try a few more rainfalls before I decide to replace it.

You guys are correct. I used the cover again today during a downpour and it did not leak at all!

I use a half cover on my current Spyder (2023 F3 Ltd Special Series).

I also carry that with me.
