• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone used an Oil change pump thru dip-stick?

There is no shortcut by using a pump and you will never get out 100% of the oil.

These pumps are used when you do not have access to the oil drain plugs for example, an inboard motor on a boat.

Pull the plugs for best results. Cheers

Well....

If you still have to do the filter/s your not saving much time and touble. You also will not see if there is anything going on in the egine...metal particles etc. But it is an alternative and know some have and are using this method....

Save your money, and let Gravity do the heavy-lifting for you! nojoke
It'll do a MUCH better job of draining the tank...

I have a air driven industrial vac pump for my Mercedes Twin Turbo Charged diesel. There is no drain plug and the dealers use this vac to change the oil, works well. The oil change on the Spyder is so easy , not sure I would mess with the pump.
