• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Anyone tried SSV Works Dual 6.5" Bluetooth Audio System?

Has anyone installed this system from SlingMods? What is the quality of the sound and the product itself? Are there better less expensive systems that you would recommend.

This would be for a 2019 F3 Base model.

Looks like no one responded to your post. I'm a new spyder owner (2019 F3 base) and awaiting my SSV Works system to be delivered tomm (12/29/19). I will attempt to install very soon and give you a detailed review of the system along with pics.

Thanks Arcamguy

Easy install, just follow the instructions. I upgraded to the Kicker speakers. Excellent sound and loud if that's what you're looking for. If you plan to use the AUX for sat radio or other item you will have to order the adapter sold by SSV Works. It does not come in the kit. There's no place to plug in a 3.5mm cable without it. Not needed if using Pandora.

I have the system on my F3. Well made, quality sound far better than my wifes Harley Boom audio. Very nice the way SSV designed the install to not use any trunk space. Also I have heard both the SSV weather resistant speakers and the Kicker speakers on this system and there is VERY little difference in sound between them. Both good but with the SSV speakers having a lifetime warranty and $100 cheaper, I suggest saving your $$ on the speakers option. My kit came with the adaptor for plugging in a 3.5mm audio cord but I have no use for it as I use only bluetooth. Also set mine up to turn off with key off as well rather than always powered on.

Finally got the bugs worked out of my install, so relieved. How did you get it to just go on only when the key is turned to the on position.
Thanks Arcamguy

I installed a relay in the power to the amplifier. Used a running light circuit to trigger the relay. The SSV works radio does not forget bluetooth links when its power is cut. It does reset volume to a lower level.

Reviving an older thread. Are you still using the SSV system on your F3? Are you happy with it? I'm half ass pondering getting one, but past experiences albeit years ago, have proven less than good results. I'm not expecting clear audio at interstate speeds, but hoping half decent at normal highway speeds. Experienced input please :) Thx

I've installed the SSV Works on my bike this past weekend. It really throws some sounds. I broke down and added 2 more speakers.
