• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone tried Rotating their front directional tires? Worth it?

Anyone had their front directional tires remounted and rotated? Was it worth the cost? Any other thoughts?
As in dismount the tires from the wheels, and then mount each tire on the opposite side, making sure they're still rotating the correct direction?

Yes. It cost me $60 to mount and balance the tires when new. I expect to have to pay a similar amount for the mount and balance.

This post should answer your question especially posts #11 and #17.
Thanks. Did a search before I started but did not find anything. Maybe I need new glasses.

If the alignment and balance are good, you shouldn't need to rotate front tires. If they aren't and the tires show noticeable wear patterns, it's probably too late to save them with a rotation anyway.

I probably waited too long with this set; just checked my records and I got over 38,000 miles on them.

At 38k, I'd say you've done quite well. I have to assume you're question was generated by uneven tire wear. Either by out of balance or alignment issues. If you want the most joy, get your alignment checked and install a set of good quality car tires. I highly recommend the Vredestein Quatrac.
