• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone tried Power Vision 3 on their 2020+ 1330's?

Well said! I would advise not to overlook Pedal Commander. While it does not make the bike any faster, it does make it more enjoyable - the throttle response is much better. More motorcycle like. I spoke to Power Vision and the PV3 can alter throttle response - but it is not possible to change as easily or on the fly as Pedal Commander - so I am keeping Pedal Commander.

Well let's see, the GS had about 119 HP and 88 lb.ft of torque and a wet weight of 500lbs., the Spyder has 115hp and 97 lb.ft of torque and weighs 900 lbs. with at least 3X rotational mass to accelerate...don't believe enough flashing to get you arrested for indecent exposure is going to close that performance gap :roflblack:. You might mask the difference a little by increasing the throttles rate of opening, but the Spyder will not perform as well as the GS had, just saying, but good luck! Regards, (BTW the GS numbers are at the rear wheel and the Spyder numbers are at the crank, which puts the GS horsepower something over 125hp at the crank for comparison.).

Pedal Commander doesn't change the tune or how the engine runs at all, it simply enhances the responsiveness of your throttle inputs, so you get to WOT quicker..... but you'll never get any more power from the engine, just an earlier response to any throttle input! :lecturef_smilie:

Power Vision actually enhances/improves the engine running, power delivery, & tune by intercepting the signals from all the various sensors & using some 'less generic' or possibly even 'better tune' settings from the tables developed by & held on the Power Vision unit instead of relying on the BRP developed 'generic' defaults that are (still) held on/hard coded in the ECU.... And if you're concerned about engine longevity &/or reliability, you should remember that the Standard BRP tables for our Spyders/Rykers are somewhat 'de-tuned' &/or 'de-rated' from the settings that BRP themselves use reliably for the same engines in other platforms, so you aren't necessarily stressing the engine any more than it's truly capable of.... :ohyea:

Thanks, that's what I wanted to lnow.

No one questions the difference between a GS vs Spyder. Clearly different animals. Since our group doesn't do track days, top speeds and acceleration on public roads is somewhat limited before the next curve. Of coarse the GS will out-run a Spyder but at least I can still see them and there a stretches of twisties that the Spyder embarrasses even the fabled GS. :firstplace::f_spider::cheers:

Me to. My bill to and deliver to addresses were transposed in the email acknowledgement they sent me. Hope that's not the standard of service from them.

Got a call from them (Dynojet) a few minutes ago and they corrected the ship to address. Also double checked that the adapter cable would be included. Nice conversation. :2thumbs:

Hello, has anyone tried the Power Vision 3 from DynoJet on your Spyder? Any thoughts pro and con?

Yes, I have one on my 2019 F3S. Bought it from Fuel Moto as they're only 90 miles up the road. Sent them multiple data logs and they tweaked my map. Byke runs great.
