There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I am Scheduled to take the Skills Test for my License.. next month and was wondering if anyone had taken the test here in Kentucky on a Spyder yet.. and how it was..

I can't tell you about Kentucky. But in florida I took the Class and the test on the :spyder2: and it was a breeze. The spyders handles so well you can't mess it up. I have never rode a motorcycle before and I got a 100 on the skill test. If I can do it anyone can. This is C of the CJ Good luck. CJ

No Help

Sorry SNSTRO, but I took the MSF class. When I asked at my local DMV (April2010) they really had no clue and said they didnt think I could take it on the Spyder because the cones were set at a certain distance & they can't change what it is & she didn't think the Spyder would fit :dontknow:

So I took the MSF class & am glad that I did:2thumbs: Sorry I can't offer any advise:opps:

Haven't taken the test in KY but here in MI it was pretty easy. They altered the course and removed a few of the cones to compensate for the 3 wheels. You might try to get a look at the course before the test and inquire if they make any adjustments for Spyders.

Good luck.

I did the MSF class because I never rode a motorized 2 wheeler before. Best thing I ever did! Next month my wife is doing it...

skills test in michigan

I took the test on the :spyder2: and had never road a bike before :spyder2: no mods of the course they told me the motorcycle is the course no mods. I so wanted to panic but there is a layout of the course in the book that came with your bike as well as a DVD my hubby and I went to the school parking lot with red plastic cups, laid out the course.practiced. and past 100% and was less nerves I think because I practiced. you will be just fine, trust me I've got to be the grand poobaa of chicken.:2thumbs:

One of the few things that Illinois did right, they actually include the Spyder in the test manual! There is a different course for the Spyder and no figure 8 . I took the MSF course so don't know if the testers follow the guidelines or not. This seems to be a problem in every state, but CA.

So let us know how it goes for you. What area of Ky are you from?
I know it says on Ky DMV we can take the test on the spyder. I have no intentions to taking the test on anything but the :spyder: . Good luck.
