• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone seen this Spyder & Canyon Temporary Belt before?

Found this in 3-Wheel Vehicles Product Spec Book 2025
Under Parts & Maintenance section

GENUINE CAN-AM PARTS

Spare Drive Belt
(Not illustrated)

Canyon and Spyder RT 705503903
Temporary belt allowing access to the nearest service point.
The price for it is not listed

Has anyone come across this before?
The part number is different to the normal Spyder/Canyon and F3 Drive belts
Would it be useful to carry on long trips?
If so, is there much information on it, eg. can it be fitted on the roadside etc?
Maybe it’s a new item from BRP?

"can it be fitted on the roadside etc?"

I've adjusted the rear drive belt, and removed the rear wheel twice to replace the tire, and would consider replacing the drive belt on the side of a road a miraculous feat. I'd like to watch and learn.

Oh, once it gets available, I suspect that it would be similar to the HD temporary belt. It has splicing fixtures to attach the two ends together. You wouldn’t use it unless your main belt completely breaks.
