Anybody mount one? What type?
I had gotten an ad for a recorder, also hate the position of the mirrors on the RT
I'd like one myself.. When parked, place transmission in reverse and have a camera/monitor come on to spot someone/something that is out of your line of site. Stuff happens real fast - kids, shopping carts - cars backing out, etc. Directly behind me a Dead Zone for proper visibility. Heck, cars/trucks have them!
For not very much money, you can sure try one. I think the only issue would be to make it waterproof.

He asked about a backup camera, not a full blown security system to monitor all activities.
Well, wasn't exactly sure was dealing with two entirely different systems or if one system did both. I think it would would be great to have on full time in the case of an accident, but would not mind having a clearer view of what is coming up from behind on you, thinking of lane merging and such.
Will see if I can find the ad and post link.Think cost was $200 and seemed like a lot and was asking what some of you have done.
Isn’t there a great Cannonball run saying “whatsa behind me doesn’t matter”! Until you back into it of course.
This?Garmin makes a backup camera that is fantastic. No wiring required. But it has an automobile license plate that comes with it, only none for a motorcycle. I had an old motorcycle license plate I cut down and mounted it on it. Uses lithium 2AA on each end. It can use regular AA batteries, but they don’t last as long. Only bad thing about it is that it can be easy to steal, as it is easy to remove. I have 2021 Can Am Spyder RTL.
Bought mine through Walmart Seen 9/23/24 for $96.00
