Anyone identify this exhaust system? (And how do I quiet it down?)

Just picked up this 2015 F3S and I am going to give riding a try again after not trusting myself at my age on a 2 wheeler. I really like the bike but am not a fan of the exhaust system on it. Can anyone identify this exhaust and what do I have to do to get it back to be/sound more like stock? It is VERY loud as it is! Thanks.

Did you get to Ryde this unit before you purchase it? Or even get to hear it run?
Pictures look like it was sitting on a show floor. So was this a bike shop or something?

I always tell people "Do your homework before you purchase."
So I not sure if this seller will help
you with your problem. Especially if this purchase was a 'buy as is' sale.

Maybe check out a big bike shop.
Sorry to say but I'm not a muffler person or anything. (y)

Given the way most of that system is welded together, I'd guess at that whole exhaust system being a Custom made system. Before you do much, you might want to check into that Custom System carefully tho, there's a chance that there's some 'Catalytic material' built into the expanded section of pipe, and maybe you could also add a baffle or two to help quiet things down?

However, if you want to revert to something sounding more 'Stock', then you're likely to need to replace pretty much everything that's there, even if you don't want to fit an OEM Cat Converter (or whatever it is that BRP calls the Primary Muffler). But I hafta ask, why on earth would you want yo do that?? At least here in Oz, the 'standard mufflers' that come from BRP on the 1330's make those engines sound like someone has just kicked a can half filled with gravel down a hill!! The optional mufflers from BRP are a little better, and there are some pretty good a/mkt mufflers available that make them sound much better, even without going for something 'Two Brothers' loud, only do bear in mind that nothing will ever make them sound quite like a Harley - their noise is a feature of their deign and crank geometry, and the 1330 triple motors simply won't ever sound like that!

Check out the offerings from Lamonster for some good examples of better sounding mufflers, and if you search here &/or on youtube, you'll probably even find some vids &/or sound clips to let you hear them first. ;)

For some zero cost research take a look at ebay or Facebook marketplace to see if anyone is offering a 2015 OEM F3S exhaust system. Could be substantially cheaper than from a dealership parts department. Then, if you're so inclined, spend your extra shekels trying to find which fart can toned exhaust you prefer.

Thanks for the input guys. As background, I bought the Spyder via Facebook marketplace from a Toyota dealer in Ohio who took it in on trade. I have found the parts on Ebay and would be into a stock exhaust for around $700. I purchased the bike as-is but the price was too good to pass up and I could put the exhaust and new tires on it and still be under what most people are asking for these. I am inclined to take Peter Aawen's advice and just run it as it is for the time being. If I put 2000 miles on it this summer I will be one happy octogenarian!

I do have a OEM muffler that I took off my 2017 F3 Limited. If you think it might fit let me know as I would make you a deal on it. But it looks like a muffler shop welded all the joints together. So you would have to modify your existing exhaust pipe to the OEM muffler.

Just venturing a guess that there is half a ton of OEM mufflers lying around just taking up space and collecting dust in Spyder owners' garages in your neck of the woods. I'm sure there's someone out there who's willing to give you one if you just pay the shipping cost or pick it up yourself. I know I've got one taking up space.

With what is there already, you may be able to less expensivley use supertrap. You add "plates" to tune down the exhaust. We had to run them on race cars at some tracks to meet sound restrictions

if I could find one I could find one to fit it might work. I was thinking I could just cut the muffler off and slide a slip-on Harley Touring muffler on. They have the attachment on the top of the muffler, but I could turn it 90 degrees and fabricate a mount to the Spyder stock location. Has to beat what I have now, which is a stainless steel straight pipe with an empty can on one end.
