• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have a new 2010 ...350 miles ....SE5 ....after coming to a stop my spyder wants to go when I take my foot off the brake ....before I twist the throttle ......hopping this is something at my first service will take care of .....

It strated about at about 275 miles .....

Thanks for the input

Scot

My 09 RS SE5 tended to do that too. Idle seemed to be set too high. My 11 RTS SE5 doesn't have that problem at all. On the upside, it acted as a good hill holder.

Ride in comfort,

It sounds like an idle problem. My RTS is set at 13--1500 and I can take my foot off the brake and it will hold, without creeping.

Yep RPM is at 1350 to 1400.....it tends to do it when all warmed up .....
My Spyder RTS SE5 idles between 1300-1400RPM when its warmed up and when you bring it too a full stop and does not do what you are describing, think your spyder has a problem that dealer needs to look at . Just my $.02 worth

yeah, I had this problem 2 years ago on my 08. It went away. Not sure why. Seemed like around 1500 miles it just stopped. I asked the dealer about it as well as I talked to Carlo. As I recall, the dealer really didn't have a solution, but as I said, it went away. I think if you just blip the throttle, it will stop the creeping at the time. Keep your foot on the brake when do it though.:roflblack:

SE 5 "creeping"

Yep, mine started doing it at around 1,000Km which was most annoying. After much backwards and forwarding to the dealer they replaced the clutch under warranty. No problems since. Good luck.

Same thing here. My '10 would want to lunge forward if I let my foot off the brake at stops. I could feel when it wanted to do it and i I put it in neutral it would tach up to 2800-3000 RPM and take a couple seconds to idle back down. I think it started doing it around 1000 miles and stopped around 5000 miles. I have over 10K on it now and I can't remember the last time it did it.

09 SE5 We had that problem in the first month. Our dealer said it was the rotation sensor and they took care of it.
