No torque wrench needed. Snug them up with a cross hatch pattern. A short 1/4" wrench is enough.

To answer your question, 97 + or - 9 inch pounds is the proper torque. I've seen some Pittsburgh torque wrenches that came with calibration certificates. If you can find that, I'd say it will get you into the proper range. As to whether or not proper torque is important, I make a living fixing commercial jetliners. I'll ask my FAA rep if it's ok to just guess as to the proper torque the next time I'm doing an engine change on a Boeing or Airbus engine mount bolts. Do you ever fly? There's a reason torque specs are given.

dg110270, don't know of any torque wrench calibrated in ft. lbs. that will read low enuff to do what you want. Look closely at the figures Jetfixer wrote. Inch Pounds as stated.

These might help. I use an in lb torque wrench.

I believe the 1/4" drive Pittsburgh wrench is calibrated in inch pounds. I had one at work, but don't remember for sure. I do remember that it tested good on our calibration device. ALWAYS back any click-type off to Zero when finished, and remember that when the setting dial first touches the spring, you are at the first major division (for instance, on a 3/8" wrench, it touches at 5 ft lbs). Parallax can easily put you one major division high, so I always count them up from first contact.
