• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone have experience (good or bad) with Motonation gear?

They've got a new set of riding pants at a pretty good price point that look like they might work in the heat.

Cappra Vented Textile Pant

I'm thinking I might give them a try (only offered in black, sigh), but wondered if anyone had evaluated/tried any of their other gear and had any general impressions of their quality.

Thanks in advance for your input.

For the price ($99), I don't think you can go wrong. Good Kevlar riding jeans start there. Looks like you get much more with the Motonation. I would give them a try.

First impressions

Received my order of the Cappra Vented Textile Pant today, and my first impressions are pretty favorable. They don't look or feel cheaply made - sturdy construction with regards to fasteners and zippers, and the fit is as advertised. They're definitely not overpants, but are comfortable with shorts on underneath. The knee protection lands where it should in a sitting position, and so we'll see how they fare in the heat on a ride tomorrow.
