• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone got a Bluetooth module mounted in trunk?

I have XM radio but do not wanna spring for another radio so I was wondering if anyone has had experience with putting a bluetooth unit in the trunk attached to the USB cable there to feed into the AUX on the stereo.

With streaming radio services, I think that might be a good solution through your phone while you ride. I actually have a thumb drive installed there that I use to scroll through songs stored in it but the lack of a folder option on the Spyder stereo is annoying when you have to scroll through multiple songs and albums to get to what you want.

Has anyone done this and which are some good quality bluetooth units?

Here is one I used on my F3L and 2014 RTS works great and cheap enough. I streamed music thru this from pandora, Sirius XM, and others.

I have a Bluetooth setup in my trunk on my 2015 RT. Contact Motorcycle Dave on this site. He supplied the wiring harness and everything else I needed.

I have the bluetooth receiver from Lamonster and now use it to get Apple Carplay to work on my 2024 F3L Special. I have it plugged in to the power USB in the trunk with my iPhone plugged in the front. Better than having to buy a headset to get Apple Carplay to work.
