There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Anyone else have website opening issues over the last couple of days?

I had a problem last evening on both desktop and phone. Desktop had error message that said it just wouldn't load w/- Microsoft suggestion to run connection test that did not correct. Safari on iPhone wouldn't load it with error message saying "too many redirects." Everything fine this morning.

There are issues going on with the site. I have also encountered the same things and messages. If I am able to find additional information I will put in an update. :bowdown:

I had issues this morning after the supposed fix listed in # 2. All does seem to be well now. Time will tell.

I'm not very computer savvy. But there are (at least) two things I've learned. When my computer locks up and a voice starts screaming at me to call this number and don't turn my computer off, the correct thing to do is to immediately turn my computer off and NEVER call the computer pirates. The second thing learned is that the computer world is not perfect. Sometimes stuff happens. When it does, patience and time are my friends. When things went bottoms up yesterday, I just moved on and watched a little football. Everything in my SL world is A-OK today..... Jim

I had issues last night. When I typed in Spyder lovers.com, I got an error message saying to clean cache, and cookies. I tried several times last night, and got the same problem. I cleared my cache, and cookie, last night. I still had problems. I gave up and went did something else.
Tonight, 12/9/2024 I didn't have any problems getting to the website.

I thought something had happened to my computer (like scam and etc.). It is certainly different. Where do you find the number of posts (like the old site did)?
