• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I would like to how difficult it was to replace to install a new clutch kit for SE5. Also how many miles on the bike before needing to replace the clutch. Thanks

First, I would ask why you feel the need to replace the clutch? Treated right, the clutch on a Spyder should last a very long time. More miles than most will ever put on their Spyder. Using the wrong oil, or running your SE5 at too low an RPM can send your clutch to an early grave. But other than these things, your clutch should be pretty much bullet proof.

The SE5 has 2 clutches - the centrifugal one referred to above and the normal (SM5) clutch. I've had the clutch pack out of my SM5 to replace an oil seal on the water pump shaft. Which one are you specifically asking about?
