• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone been in contact with Spyderpops lately?

Just curious, has anyone been in contact with Spyderpops in the last month. I ordered a Cyclops LED Light at beginning of April, and still have not received it. ( I live in Canada). I am not knocking the company, but was wondering if they are closed due to the Coravid 19 issues, as I have not received any responses to emails and my phone calls have only received answering machine. Any assistance would be awesome.

Regards.

They must be down, I emailed them about a month or more ago and asked if they would be at the rally in Deland FL this year and no response, so I did not pursue it further. There's time and I can inquire later.

Last week I was in contact via both email/telephone. I'd keep trying (as you likely are).

Have e-mailed back and forth with him three times in the last week. Last one was on Monday. Tom :spyder:

It could be a Customs Canada thing also. I know it seems to take forever if I order something from the U.S.

We are here and have been open the whole time. Our hours are from 8am to 4:30pm so if you call after hours we may not answer the phone. We do respond to messages if you leave one.

Yup. They are open and running. We had both our Spyders serviced and one farkleized about a month ago.

Am thinking the no delivery of lights to Canada is a customs thing. They can be very slow about some things.

Mail has been very slow to some areas of the USA. And extremely slow to most International destinations. Almost all International mail travels on commercial airlines. And they are just about shut down completely. I've got customers all over the world complaining about not receiving their merchandise. To the point where I'm considering not shipping to International retail customers until things get back to normal.

We are going to get back to 'Normal' at some point... aren't we?

Appreciate the response, Both times I called, was between 1230 and 130 pm PST. I believe that you are on Arkansas time two hours ahead, so you should have been open. I did leave a message the 2nd time with the order number. I just wish there was a way to track the parcel, because once it hits Canada, it seems to be in no mans land. No pun intended. At this point even getting a US postal box is of no use, because the damn border is closed for non-essential travel. I am really hating 2020.

Unfortunately, the issues go both ways. I bought something from Pierre @ CASA about a week ago. According to the USPS tracking site, it's supposed to arrive Saturday however there haven't been any tracking updates since it crossed the border in NY.

Yup, it makes no difference.....US or Canada.....I ordered from Pierre and delivery is scheduled for 10 days....province to province delivery. All we can do is grin and bear it. It isn't Pierre's fault.

The day we were there from 11:30 to just after 4:30, I noted they answered the phone everytime it rang. Arkansas time is same as Central Standard Time.

ARtraveler ...Well, that is very interesting. I just called now, 0852 hr PST (1052 Central time). All I get is the answering machine with hrs of operation and option to leave a message, which I did on previous call. This is frustrating. I have emailed, responded to your PM, and tried to phone. Not sure what else to say. Sorry.

If any mail normally routes thru Detroit, they are running at about 25% do the the current situation. Things going to/thru Detroit may be routed to one of (3) other Post offices. I found this out from an order placed at East Lansing, MI.

I do not have an answer. Sorry.
