There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Holy Shnikies dude! These look awsome. I like the black as well. Do they fit our bolt pattern? Keep us posted as to whether you make the move on them or not.

BTW, thanks again for the link to that clutch lever. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger and get me one! :2thumbs:

That's funny, I did a search and it took me like 5 seconds to find them.

Anyway, here you go!

They do look real nice but for me, this is one of those things that does not have a function, so I could not justify them.

Now a set of 17's so I would have some more tire choices???? That would be something I would consider!
Maybe include a new set of fender brackets to fit the new 17's with super low pro wider tires (same diameter as stock so not to agravate the nanny)
Or a new rear wheel too so you could increase the diameter respectively front and rear.

WHATS THE LINK:spyder:
http://www.importationsthibault.com/2008/moto10_page.php?langue=en&page=1238 This is a Canadian [Quebec]based motorcycle & Spyder aftermarket catalog.Prices are in Can$ $ and are cheaper than Industrie 7's which are in US$$[although its almost at par now].Also the local shop said he would do better than the price posted. The wheels have been out for a while now so I thought someone may be using them and could give a report good or bad:dontknow:.

That is a pretty interesting site! They had some good stuff there besides the wheels. One thing I noticed was that there was no back wheel to match the fronts. That would be good if there was a rear to match.

I'll tell ya, I had a camaro 18 years without a problem. I still have my Dodge RAM truck and it's 14 years old. Why? In my humble opinion, it's because not only do I take care of my vehicles, I don't mess with factory spec! Or I use factory performance parts. Far too many times I have seen guys go nuts with exotic aftermarket stuff going way off spec and then having all kinds of trouble. Not in all cases, of course, but many. At this point I am not too eager to go straying off the res and doing the big tire thing.

Now Bean did it the right way and went to a place where they custom made his wheels to fit the Spyder bolt pattern. RideWright I think it was... It was expensive, but the result was great and there are no adapters involved. ThatI would do, but I don't think I would go as far as 17s. 15s to match the back would be fine for me. 3 225/50R-15s would be sweet on a wheel that matches the factory bolt pattern. That to me would be the setup. Lighter tire/wheel. same profile. No problemo! :ohyea:

What's the link to the clutch lever?

Pazzo no longer makes them. I'm maybe looking for something that fits my hand better.

Hey Dynamo! Let me look back at my threads and such and I'll get that link to you. I think you'll like it!

If and when I go with custom wheels the same at all three points is a must. Like you I don't want spacers or adapters. I want the wheel to bolt right on. The reason I'd like to step up to 16 is the tire selection is much better there for a three point match also. I would want to keep the rear the same and just go a little wider on the front like maybe a 205 width. I like the look of the wider tire in the rear with a little thinner in the front but that just may be me. :D

Here is another tire size calculator I stumbled across. http://ejelta.com/tiresize/index.html?ws16=1&ws15=1&ws14=1&m=&tiresize=185%2F65-14&minwidth=185&maxwidth=225&minratio=40&maxratio=65&minwheel=14&maxwheel=17&maxdelta=2

That is a cool calculator. I'm gonna bookmark that for future reference! What alot of people don't realize is that when you start going into bigger wheels/tires you are robbing useful horsepower to turn those things. And I'm with you in that I like the rear being a bit wider than the front. So like a 215/50-15 in the front would be ideal to me. with the 225/50-15 rear you don't change profile one bit but you gain quite a bit of contact patch over the 165 in the front without over-stressing the rest of the front end components.

Don't want to be blowing out any ball joints or bushings because we are pushing some monster wheel around! :D Apparently RideWright will make pretty much anything you want. They make stuff to your specification. It's at a premium of course, but if you are going to do it, may as well do it right. I'm sure there are other companies out there as well that can make custom stuff.

You do have a point about better tire selection at the 16" size though. Many more options to choose from. It's just the rear wheel that now becomes a bit of a pain in the neck! But hey, it's only money!! :roflblack: If you have enough of it, it can be done!!

So have you haven't taken delivery of the bike yet right? You have one on order? The waiting is the toughest part I think! But it will be worth it! BTW, my apologies but I don't recognize the bike in your avitar pic. What is that? It's pretty nice looking! Could that be the Guzzi by any chance?

Dynamo, here is your link: http://www.extremekempy.com/shop/ind...uct_list&c=249 use the code "KONG" and get 10% of your purchases and free shipping in the US.

Have you tried adjusting your current clutch lever? I had to adjust mine as well and have it at a place where it's OK, but I would like like to change it out for something a little more conducive to my style. I think this lever (link) just might do it. I am actually looking for something more race oriented, something I can hit really quick with my index and middle fingers...

Yes the bike in those photos in my mod thread is my Spyder!
