I clicked on the link and my I get a warning from my Antivirus ( Bitedefender) says" Bitedfender Blocked This Page". Also, I got : Melu.co.za. Deanna777

The link in the first post is live, but it is NOT eBay. It is Melu.co.za which appears to be a web domain in Zambia.

Looks like a total fraud. Searching for that VIN on actual eBay turned up no result for me.

I clicked on the link and got " Melu.co.za and my antivirus ( Bitedefender) " Blocked the Page". Deanna777

I researched it too. It is a fraud. My Bitdefender blocks it.

I also tried the link in the first post, and My Bitedefender Blocked it also. And I got melu.co.za. I did not pursue this any further. Deanna777

I think may be the BRP bike that burned at that test drive event in PA...factory refurb and under salvage title.

This was my husband's toy. In 2011 he was diagnosed with the dreaded cancer, but sadly he lost his battle and passed away in the August. The final price that I want for this spyder is $8,400 (including shipping and handling). Unfortunately I can't conclude this transaction personally due to work commitments. The deal will go strictly according to eBay rules.

I went one more step with whoever.....
"The spyder is already at the shipping company in Roxbury, MA. I asked them to allow viewers to go there and inspect the spyder but their reply was "We are not a showroom!"
Since this is an online transaction we need to have our deal registered at eBay. The spyder will be shipped to your address (shipping is free).
So, let me re-state for clarity to ensure you fully understand:
The money will be paid to eBay who will hold the money essentially in escrow, till you receive and inspect the spyder.
There is a 10 working day period allowing you to check that the spyder is ok, which commences after you receive the spyder.
In the unlikely event that the spyder is not as described / faulty / you do not wish to proceed, at any point during the 10 day period you have the ability to cancel the agreement, return the spyder (at my cost) and request funds back through eBay.
Assuming everything is ok with the spyder, at any point in the 10 period you will inform eBay so they can release the funds to me.
Please take into consideration that I receive the money only after you will receive the spyder and make sure everything is OK. If you agree with these terms and you have the money, send me your eBay user ID and phone number and I will relist it with a buy it now button and you will buy it directly from the ebay website.

There was a 2014 Rs stolen from Columbus Ohio area with 54 miles over a month ago so be careful of this . The serial numbers given to BRP.

Re: Craigs List. I bought my Spyder from CL. As long as you have good contact and the seller is willing to let you look, see, and touch, etc..... Then CL can be a good resource.
