• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anybody know what size

And shape the front speakers are on the spyder. Also it'd be good to know if the speaker grills just pop off. Pics would be cool to see as well. I'm planning on getting the base model RT and adding in a marine radio. Just kind of planning things out.

search is your friend on here! there are a few threads already on this even pics of install and a video I think posted.

I will most certainly search for those tidbits of info. I want to know all I can before buying the Spyder. Hey wait a minute! I thought you was clueless... :f_spider: You don't sound clueless. ;)

The fronts are 5.25" and the rears are 4". Polk Audio makes marine speakers (DB521 front and DB401 rear). I just changed the rear speakers along with the Corbin armrests. Not too bad of a job.

Is it a big job installing the Corbin arm rests on the RT ? I'm thinking of installing them on my RT. I have an eight year old grandaughter that rides with me a lot. I was thinking it would be saffer and more comfortsble for her with them. Kids have a tendency of snoozing after a while. She loves touring but the scenery is not enough to keep her occupied and awake, but will ride all day though.

Roger, You can get a copy of the installation instructions right off of Corbin's website... (If I had your e-mail I could send them to you!)

You may want to make sure the passenger will still be able to access the grab handles. I was thinking of getting these but after CanAm-Y (Amy) tried them out on a fellow Spyder ryders RT we decided against them. She is a petite 5' 2" tall. She felt he elbos were too high for comfort and couldn't easliy access the grab handles.

Just something to think about...
