• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

anybody getting calls from BRP?

I just got home from work and my son tells me that BRP just called looking for me. They have never called before so I am wondering if any body else has received a call from them recently. And if so, what were they looking for? I got my 2008 SE5 GS back in October of 2008 and this is the first time a BRP rep has contacted me. Any ideas?

They seem to be contacting owners to answer a survey about satisfaction, complaints, etc. I was on the phone with them for about 45 minutes and got to discuss a lot of issues etc. with them.

Help Please

I need a number to call and what is the name of the lady who took over for Carlos?

On september 28th was the first time I took my 2012 Spyder RT-AC on the freeway it had less then 1500 miles and within 5 mins
of getting on the freeway my left side panel flew off. I was so upset and wasn't sure what to do. I pulled over to the side of the road
and put my 4 ways on and tried to look for the panel but there were a wall of cars behind me and it got ran over several times and then I couldn't see it any more. We took the panel off Darrell 2011 and it was very loose and wouldn't stay in. I need to find out if they are going to replace the panel and groments (recall in July) . Other then that the AC is wonderful and I am really enjoying it alot.

Thank you so much for your assistance

It might be a good time for a discussion with your dealer first. BRP usually gets involved when problems cannot be solved at dealer level. Let us know what happens.

Twice for me

My side panel has left me twice, but I've been lucky enough to have my riding partner retrieve it before it was smashed beyond recognition, still it is quite scarred. Both times I was on smooth level roadways and accelerating beyond 60. I'm trying to follow the recommended procedure. This past Saturday I took it to the dealership, and they said they would submit a claim for the cover, we shall see what happens next. I ride around paranoid now, waiting for the next incident. Hopefully BRP will honor the claim. To replace it and the trim is quite a bite out the pocketbook. I'm adding Velcro under both sides, but I'm still a little paranoid, constantly leaning forward and checking it enroute. Hopefully your dealership will be anxious to help as mine was.:dontknow:yet.

I like my Baker Air Wings or 2 reasons: (1) I can adjust the airflow to myself and passenger and (2) the way they attach to the Spyder the side panels can't come off...
