• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking to buy a Corbin Seat for my RT. :f_spider: My dealer has a new parts Mgr.. :hun: He will not deal, wants full retail for everything now. :banghead: Old Mgr. was a wheeler and dealer. Always gave great prices. :firstplace: Tom :trike:

I just ordered one from Corbin a couple weeks ago.

Looking forward to it getting here...we got the heated option too.

I have bought all my Corbin accessories (seats, fairings, top trunk)directly from Corbin. They are a SL sponsor.

They don't deal, but you will not have to deal with dealer markup. Installation directions are pretty good. I have installed all my Corbin items myself.

Or you can go to Hollister and they will install it for you and you get to meet Doc, Forrest & Ticketbait.

Thanks Steve. But, the CFO(wife) says it has to be heated. Tom :trike:
I have a heated Corbin at the temp you need heat you have thick clothes on and can't feel the heat of the seat makes it hardly worth the extra cost we bought used so it didn't matter but knowing what I know now I wouldn't spend the extra on a new one love the seat though

That's a 2500 mile trip for us. :yikes: You guys on the left coast are lucky. Both Corbin, and Russell Day Long do ride in service. Tom :trike:

Does Ultimate make a heated seat Tom? Like I said, I'm plenty happy with mine (not heated) and it was a lot cheaper than that.

No, for whatever reason they don't heat their seats! :hun: I found the "Corbin" link. All mine says is "Spyder Seat". No link. Refreshed the page., still not linked. :dontknow: Thanks everyone for the assistance. That's what I really like about this board! Everybody chips in to help out. Tom :trike:

Love my corbin

Got it Steve. WOWSER! $1485 plus shipping...... :yikes: OK Mama(CFO), are you ready for this? :hun: Tom :trike:
Gas Door alone was worth it to me. I have 75k on my Corbin...first ? I asked when buying the '14 was will my Corbin transfer...it did..I was told by Corbin to give it 1000 miles of ryding before judging...Heck within 100 miles I was giving it a :thumbup:. After that many miles in all kinds of weather it looks good as new...I dress the leather every winter when Spyder gets stalled due to winter. Other than that nothing special. Did get Shady Products to make me a rain cover this year. Have used twice. NICE...definitely worth the $ to have. Corbin did not make a rain cover in '10 when I got my seat...thinking they still don't, but not sure on that one. Pricey, yep...but heck it's only money:roflblack::roflblack: and last I checked no one gets to take it with them!! I agree I would not spend the extra $ for heated. I did not get heated...cold butted get a sheepskin.... Happy shopping.
