• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any Spyder Shipping Recommendations - Maine to Texas?

We're considering shipping one of our Spyders to our summer home in central Maine from our winter home in the San Antonio, Tx area and are in search of recommendations for reputable motorcycle/vehicle shipping companies. Speed of service is not essential because it usually takes us five days to drive the 2500 miles, and we would like to be on-hand for both the departure and arrival days. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and suggestions.

For those who suggest I ride the Spyder to Maine, I would certainly consider doing so if I was not recovering from cardiac surgery. Thankfully it's progressing well, but at 80 I'm no longer a spring chicken and healing takes way too much time! Cheers.

Too bad your health does not allow you to do the ride. I did a 6 day repositioning ride of one of my Spyders last spring at a month short of 80. It was 1850 miles, East Valley of Phoenix to NW Washington via Northern California on Highway 1 and 101 through Oregon and part of Washington. Hitting a dog the first day was not good. However, I was able to carry on, finishing the bucket list ride. As I tell people, go play in city rush hour traffic as practice, as you will have some on such a ride.

I have no idea of the cost of this company but have seen this truck in town. I watched them unload a trike. Not a wobble or bobble went on with that process.
