• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got into this expensive hobby today. Just bought 2 trainer planes, Super Cub and P-40 Warhawk. The quadcopter was out of stock. That will be next purchase.

Member of the local RC club here in town with a nice R/C field and paved runway. :)

Very fun and expensive hobby. Got into it about 8 years ago, but haven't flown much in the last 2. I started out with the Super Cub and finally worked up to a 1/4 scale Edge 540 with a 30cc gas engine. Wanted to go up to a 50cc plane but couldn't make myself fork out the dough:shocked:

Always liked to tell folks that the plane isn't actually as big as it looks- It WILL fit into a kitchen trash bag:banghead:

Have fun with your new hobby, I'm sure you'll enjoy it:thumbup:

You will love it. I have a classic trainer (Eagle 2) and an aerobatic trainer (Tiger 2). I have built both aircrafts which is part of the fun and also a very useful skill set for repairs post incident/crash lol. Wish you plenty of fun with flight school

Ive had RC cars and trucks for over 25 years, never had a real airplane though....just the typ attached to a string that goes round and round when. I was like 7. Lol

Ive got at the moment a $1000 Gravedigger truck, 4 trucks, and 2 cars and about $5000 in accessories I wish I could sell :roflblack:

On a side note....if you get good at this.....you could fly drones for Pizza Hut or Dominoes? :roflblack:
