• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When my Spyder starts up it has a fluid leak, and when at idle it still leaks?!?

When it's revved and back to idle it still leaks???

Anyone have any ideas??

Is it an oil leak (darkish & oily coloured, slippery/oily to the touch); a coolant leak (Fluro orange, yellow, green, or maybe even blue); gas (often almost clear as a leak, but it has a distinctive smell! :p); or a brake fluid leak (thinner & lighter than an oil leak, but very likely still darkish, unless it's been changed recently)?? :dontknow:

You should also try to identify where it's coming from, as that will make a difference. A couple of sheets of white-ish paper under the bike while it stands &/or runs for a bit should help narrow it down a bit, but you're going to hafta remove the flat tray thingies underneath & take the tupperware off the sides eventually, so do it now & have a bit of a look.

Over to you for more info....

Have you got down and had a look above where the coolant is on the ground? :dontknow:

May be a good starting point to look at to see where its coming from?
