• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have a F4 Custums 18 inch windshield on my 900 Ryker and had so much buffeting my shirt almost blew up covering my head, any ideas on a way to stop this? Thanks

Taller, wider W/S? I have the taller, wider F4 for my RT and raising it up cured that. Tom :spyder:

maybe you use the Can-Am outlander delux fairing - they have 3 different sizes of windshields for it .. works perfect, also if you have to ride in the rain !!

For decades and many bikes, my go to windshield supplier has been 7Jurock. Great product, people and prices. I never paid over $170 shipped, and that was for a custom made to my specs. Whatever w/s you get, order a flip - reverse curve at the top - it makes like it's a taller w/s than it is. I am 5-10 and have an 18" (measured vertically along the center, top to bottom) 7Jurock with a flip. I can see well over it and the wind is right at the air scoop at the top of my helmet. Perfect! Note that it utilizes the stock brackets - nice.

1. Keep your head out of the airstream by tucking down instead of sitting up. Like sport bikes
2. Get a much taller and wider windshield so you can sit up and be out of the airstream
3. Get a long sleeve shirt with a longer tail so you can tuck it in.

Can you adjust the angle on it any?
It sounds like the windshield is causing too much of a negative pressure pocket behind it.

Well before you can fix the problem you need to determine where the wind is coming from and if your shirt is blowing up I suspect the turbulence is coming from under the shield. When you get up to speed take your left hand and hold it flat next to the gas tank, if you can fell the air rushing up into your hand it won't matter how tall of a shield you put on, the problem will still exist.

Good luck
