Any apps/converters to allow Android phone map use on 2024 S2S with ACP?

I have been following all of the discussions about Apple Car Play issues even though I have an Android phone. My question is: Are there any add-on converters that would work to allow me to see maps from my Android phone on my 2024 Spyder with ACP enabled? Or am I dreaming?

Android Auto support has to come from CAN-AM.

And it would probably come through a software update you would download to your Spyder, similar to the update that added Carplay.

I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for. Has BRP ever given a reason for not having android auto available on the spyders?

Android Auto is available from the Google Play Store and most likely owned in total by Google. It must be accessed through them.
Not really familiar with it, but if Google owns it, then it could not be provided by BRP without some sort of licensing agreement and Google Play would have to be party to that.

I don't remember anything specific from BRP/CAN-AM about why they didn't build in Android Auto support, just that they supported Apple CarPlay.

If you are an Android user you could look at adding something like a Carpuride device.

I have Android Auto on my 2025 Countryman All4 and my phone, my F3T 25 Spyder connects to my phone when I start it, but I think it's bluetooth wifi. I'll check it out later when l take a ride.

Many cars and pickups have Android Auto. My 2021 F-150 does in wireless most of the time. Sometimes I have to plug it into the trucks usb port or restart the truck.

Has anyone tried the Onince devices he mentions on a '24+ RTL?

I bought one and tried it. It does not work on Spyders. The bike reports an incompatible iOS version on the device when plugged in. I have tried several now and none work. There are LOTS of these devices out there, so I'm still hoping someone finds one that works.

No, there are aftermarket adaptors that use the Car Play interface to project Android Auto. The Onince device above is one example that works well doing just that on Harley bikes. Unfortunately, the device does not work on Spyders. It seems that BRP has gone to extra lengths to lock out Android users from these bikes.
