• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any advice on adjusting Belt Dampener?

I installed Lamonster's belt dampner a couple days ago. The instructions don't really explain how to adjust it. Anyway I believe it definitely needs to be adjusted. Any advice would be appreciated. I attached a pic.
Thanks, Bob

Back off the bolts where its mounted to the frame just a bit...........the holes allow some adjustment. You should be able to push the rear of the arm in slightly and rotate the whole thing a little more vertical, hold while tightening the bolts.

I had the same issue with the LaMonster damper. Also, after one season, I found the bearings were pretty dry. I put Doc's damper back on and was able to adjust it to the belt. I am more happy with Doc's damper design as it allows a lot of adjustability.

Thanks for the responses. I'm glad I am retired and have the time to do things like this. BTW, the instructions aren't very good. Just my thought(s).
