• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

antenna

I was on a recent road trip when I stopped for gas I noticed my antenna was gone. It was broke just below where it comes up out of the plastic. I have no ides when it broke. It could have been broken off while parked as I'm just not in the habit of looking at it. Has this ever happen to anyone. Could it have happened while driving? I was having problems with the rubber grommet coming out of it's hole from time to time. My problem is convincing my dealer it's a warranty issue. Does anyone know if this has happened to anyone before.

For warranty you normally need to show that there was a manufacturing defect. Mine Brooke when a cover was born up by high winds and twisted, taking the antenna of at about the place you mention. Replaced it with a flexible rubber one from Walmart. There are a few threads with more information on SL.

+1 on the Walmart. My 2012's antenna flew off on the highway, complete including boot and double ended attachment stud.

Assembly instructions apparently do not include loctite :(.

Wal-mart antenna is 'okay', reception is not quite as good so if you live in the boonies like I do you might notice the difference.

They have you covered. The Wal-Mart one works good and at around $10 not to expensive. I believe the BRP replacement (if not covered under warranty), is about $75.

Thanks guys, I called the service guy who said I would have to pay for it up front and if BRP deemed it a warranty case they would reimburse me. He is to get back to me with my cost. $75 doesn't seem to bad but I'm not sure which way I'll go yet. Again thanks.
