• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I use a cargo mesh from my old Guzzi. So far so good... and compact.

That'll work...

but it won't help with the heat or rain...:banghead: but will keep folks off..!!

I hear ya!

I used to ride a 2000 Moto Guzzi Jackal - one of my favorite bikes ever. It was almost as good of a conversation starter as the Spyder.
I hear ya. I gotta sell mine, but haven't yet. Wish I had the space/money/time for both.

Those Moto Guzzi's were classics for sure.

Just curoius... Did you have a repetitive problem with people sitting on your Spyder BEFORE you used the cargo net?

Sitting

No, it never has happened. Honestly, it wouldn't have occurred to me except for the comments here. Well, and I am part of group that meets every Friday night in a part of town where a good number of homeless people live. No crime in that, but there are always a few with some profound mental issues. No need to make it easy to get on... and this thing sure does stand out.

Slight detour...Sidecars, guessing your photo of the Spyder and Beech Starship was at Evergreen Museum???

Neat place. Been there twice.

Donated the sales brochures I had from the Beech Starship circa early 80's to Evergreen to go along with the aircraft.

Maybe if I get back sometime the curator I dealt with will let me see more of the Spruce Goose. I would love to go inside the wing to the engine.

Yeah, it was a part of my 1000 mile first trip. Pretty good place. I just noticed some part of that filed for bankruptcy toward the end of last year, though some deal was in the works in April to save it all. Are you a flyer? I trained in a Cessna 150 about 35 years ago, and more recently flew powered parachutes... both pretty far from that picture!

That would take at least six feet of snake...
But at season's end; you could make a nice belt out of him!
