Another Tire question

I read many tire threads, I have a quick and easy question. How much it will cost me for an OEM tire replacement for the back and 2 for the front (parts and installation) at a Can Am dealer.
Thanks

That is not an easy question because the answer will vary with every dealership and I would estimate the total range of quotes would be as much as $250 from lowest to highest. Certainly best to get more than one quote

Depends..!

if your talking all dealer, tires and labor. Many have tires mounted elsewhere buying tires online or tire stores. Shop rates vary from state to state and city to city. There are a lot of variables so it would be hard to say. I do my own work so buy my tires online (ebay) pull the wheels and run them down to the auto shop and have them mounted and balanced for $15.00 a piece. Your best bet is to call your closest dealer and then work your way out...:dontknow:

The answers to this question may be as many as there are dealers in the country. Each sets their own profit margins on parts and each has their own labor rates depending on the competition within their market area.

A guess on OEM tires in the Atlanta area would be $500 for the Kuhmo rear and $350 for both Kenda fronts.

Same here, I do my own work and put aftermarket (car) tires on my RT. Got my car tire guy to mount my rear tire included in the cost of the tire. ($120) Had the fronts mounted at spyderquest by Netzleys. Can't remember the price. 215/60/15 Michelin Primacy on the rear, 185/65/14 General Altimax HP's on the front. I have seen some quote around $300 to buy and mount the rear at the dealer. I got charged $360 for the rear tire and mounting on my two wheeler at my old spyder dealer so I decided not to see how much it was for the spyder. Get quotes from a few places for the rear, but the fronts you can take anywhere. There are plenty of places to get front tires. You could get Kendas from Ebay or the dealer, or find something online or locally in the 165,175 or 185/60/14 sizes. good luck on whatever you decide.

Yes, prices are going to vary from all over the country.

From my area dealer.

Two fronts at about $79 each. Labor $150 or so. Ball park $300

Rear: $179 each plus labor, Another $150 or so. Ball park $325

Look at about $700. Yep! That is a lot for tires. I have found that the fronts outlast the rear tires by about 8K to 10K miles on mine. Never had to do the whole thing at once. That helps.

Rear tire

Before winter, I had my rear tire replaced on my 2014 RT S. 3500 total miles and bald. Cost $348 total. That was a BRP tire and not Kuhmo. Wanted another $80 if I had Kuhmo tire installed as it was not stock equipment. Hope this helps.

KENDA TIRES

Is it just me, I like the Kenda tires I did put the Kumho rear tire on my RT after the Kenda wore out at 6000 miles, But I noticed the Kumho was not quite as sticky I am back with Kendas on my new FS three and I like the performance from the sticky rear tire. I am guessing that the new compound Kenda is on the FS three

JI put a nitto nt450 205/55/R15 on my bike ,the tire is the same diameter as the stock one. but this tire is V rated and a high performance tire ,the width is marginally narrower than stock. very very good traction. and good ware.
