Maybe, but it does the job and only cost me a $1. It mounts up high above the saftey card where it is easy to see and hear.

It's an simple electrical conduit channel clamp. You can find it most hardware stores. I just added the ram mount part of the windsheild mount that came with the GPS.

It's not that fancy but it does the job. It also mounts up high enough and right behind the windshield to protect the GPS from the wind and rain. I paid cash for the Spyder but my wife makes me spend my allowance on any mods. She only gives me $15 a week so $155 is a little out of my budget.
