I'm in San Antonio now at my youngest sons graduation. Alex got his "coin" yesterday and is now a Airman for the United States Air Force. He'll be spending the next two weeks to see if he has what it takes for the Special Forces. If he makes it through that he'll move on to his schooling for Combat Controller. With a 95% drop rate I hope he didn't set his sights too high but I'm proud that he's going for it.
The ceremony was not as intense as the Marines but it was still great. When they graduate they give them a coin instead of a globe and anchor like the Marines. Anyway I was so excited I just had to share this with my friends here. Please keep all are military in your thoughts and prayers.
