• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

another nice ride

Last year while I was on the MACHINE (as my wife and I like to call it). I spied a guy on a Harley on the side of the road, he looked like he may have had a problem. Getting close I realized he had a patch from some club (many little 1%ers in this area). I slowed down and signaled if he was ok I could tell he did not know what to make of it at first then he nodded and gave me a thumbs up. The look on his face was funny.
Years ago my good friend was riding the back roads in NY on his Beemer and came across some patch holders with a broke bike. he always has many tools as he is a iron butt rider. He stopped and got them on their way. I bet they did not mention that at their next meeting. I still wonder what club they belonged to if they could not fix that bike, could not have been much of one.
