• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyd3r I have the same plugs and looked at that spot, but thought it had too much curvature. Was the rubber enough to deal with it? Thanks

Stormtrouper suggested that I check and see if the previous owner already installed a BajaRon swaybar. I crawled under today and there is a swaybar, black with the plastic ends. One of the pix I saw depicted the BajaRon bar as orange. Did the factory put a bar on the RT or could I have a BajaRon??? How can I be sure?
Thanks!!!

I'm told that the factory ends are on the inside of the links, and the BajaRons are on the outside. Also my Baja is black. I didn't measure it, but it looks like its 1/2" "thick" and the factory closer to 3/8". Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info guys and gals! I think I found a home here. One more thing: I've been out in the cold garage looking everywhere for that kickstand. Do you think mine is electric and retractable???

Electric AND retractable???
I have SOOOO got to get me; one of them!

In cognac; of course! :D

Welcome!

Welcome aboard! I am a newbie here to, and I don't own a Spyder yet, but I know that this forum is a great resource. I am sure you will find lots of helpful folks here that will be able to answer your questions! I actually work with a very good Can Am tech here in western NC, and in the future, if you ever get stumped on anything, feel free to PM me and I will run it by him. Happy riding and enjoy the new sled!

Joe
