I rode into work today. It had rained overnight, and the roads were a bit wet still. I'm still not completely comfortable getting on the expressway (especially at 5:30 in the a.m.).....
I took a route that skips most of the e-way. I would normally get on the on-ramp that is towards the end of the route. It's one of those where you just stay in the on-ramp lane and go to the next exit without having to leave that lane. Lo and behold-----A TRAIN!!!!

You can't wait for those in the morning because they are either coming out of the train yard (which this one was doing) or trying to get into the yard. Coming out, over 100 cars usually. Takes FOREVER!!! Going in, move 2 car lengths, stop, move 2 car lengths, stop. Very frustrating.
So, I had to get on the e-way....on wet road... :yikes: I got in the lane that had the most dry spots and took off!! Obviously, made it there in one piece, and NOT soaking wet!!! On my Honda, I would have been wet from the knees down and crapping my drawers, praying it didn't start sliding all over and chuck me off of it!!!!
I soooooooo love my :spyder2: !!!!! My face still hurts after I ride it too--from grinning ear to ear!!!:clap::clap:
