• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well..you can only analyze - the emphasis on anal - something so long.

Bought a 2009 Full Moon SM5 this afternoon. It has to be fished out of the wharehouse and some add-ons installed - and my check clear. Middle of next week - hopefully.

I really liked the SE5 - rode the SE5 and SM5 too at a BRP event - but at the end of the day decided I liked the flexibility fo shifting.

Here are the extras - all BRP stuff so far:
Trunk liner
Tank bag
Battery tender ( let them futz with the battery connections)
1" riser. Good enough, but still need to deal with foot position.
Sportrack and Backrest combo
Hindle (maybe)

I'm whining my butt off to see if the dealer (Riva in Pompano) will honor the warranty by brokering installation of two-sided duals. Parts/service guy said the will find out if Two Bros is even thinking of such a setup based on their success with one-sided duals. Not a big deal - no dice - then Hindle.

I first stopped by the Harley dealer to actually see a TriGlide. While a TriGlide and Spyder are more or less apples-oranges I was beside myself when told they were asking/getting 5-6K OVER MSRP for the TriGlide. Fudge that.

My Spyder was MSRP but no prep or freight and a godo discount on the add-ons.

This is gonna be so cool...

Congrats!

What do you mean by "honor the warranty by brokering installation of two-sided duals." ?

Fancy gibberish on my part...

I want the dealer to make the arrangements to install the dual exhaust so they are on the hook if something goes wrong.

I realixe that by law BRP would have to prove that any modification casued a problem, but as lean as these engiens run adding an exaust with too much free flow I believe (correct me if I am wrong) icoudl result in an over lean condition and possible engine issues. Not saying it will, just could IMHO. I know there are fuel management add-ons, etc.

I am too old to fight these kind of battles anymore ;)

In my discussion dealer will install the Hindle with no warranty issue - obvioulsy, but also the current Two-Bros VALE duals because Two Bros will stand behind the warranty.

However, I want one can per side and no one is making that yet.

Pete

Okay - I get you now. Many dealers won't install the Hindle as it's not street legal and they can get fined.

I would at least install the 02 Modifier by Evoluzione along with your two brothers pipes. If you really want her to scream - add their Race Airflow system and Fuel Pressure mod!

I doubt your dealer will install anything on the bike that isn't made by BRP-----

ptoemmes,

I talked to Riva South in key largo, (same company) prior to ordering my two brothers duals exhaust (from 2 bros) and they told me there were not stocking them any more. You might want to check Broward Motorsports i understand the owner was one of the guys that worked with brp on the design for the spyder and they might be able to give you more info.

FYI, i am running, duals (one side) w/juice box, race flow air filter & o2 mod (evo) Really Nice (for my taste):spyder2:

Are you running Ken's fuel pressure mod too?

I have the Hindle, o2 Mod, Race air system and Fuel pressure mod and just love it. Was wondering if the juicebox would give me even more boost?

I run the fuel around 63 psi. Have no idea what my MPG is - don't really care!

:2thumbs::congrats:
:agree:about the Triglide - way too much money! Nice but I also think it's a little bulky looking and after riding my :spyder2: I can't get used to 2 wheels in the back on the Triglide.

I think if you look on you tube you will find the type of exhuast you are looking for. I'am pretty sure somebody had a stainless steal set up.
