Well..you can only analyze - the emphasis on anal - something so long.
Bought a 2009 Full Moon SM5 this afternoon. It has to be fished out of the wharehouse and some add-ons installed - and my check clear. Middle of next week - hopefully.
I really liked the SE5 - rode the SE5 and SM5 too at a BRP event - but at the end of the day decided I liked the flexibility fo shifting.
Here are the extras - all BRP stuff so far:
Trunk liner
Tank bag
Battery tender ( let them futz with the battery connections)
1" riser. Good enough, but still need to deal with foot position.
Sportrack and Backrest combo
Hindle (maybe)
I'm whining my butt off to see if the dealer (Riva in Pompano) will honor the warranty by brokering installation of two-sided duals. Parts/service guy said the will find out if Two Bros is even thinking of such a setup based on their success with one-sided duals. Not a big deal - no dice - then Hindle.
I first stopped by the Harley dealer to actually see a TriGlide. While a TriGlide and Spyder are more or less apples-oranges I was beside myself when told they were asking/getting 5-6K OVER MSRP for the TriGlide. Fudge that.
My Spyder was MSRP but no prep or freight and a godo discount on the add-ons.
This is gonna be so cool...
