• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another Good Dealer!!! Extreme Propulsion - Cartersville, GA

About five days ago in Florida, I noticed the top clamp for the Clutch lever assembly had a crack in it. The lever and master cylinder weren't moving so I figured I would replace it when I got back home to Charlotte this week.

Well... Left friend's house this am, and clutch lever was flopping around. Went back, tightened it up enough to use and found that Extreme Propulsion was the only Can Am dealer open on Monday. Also, they were on my way to the Smokie Mountains, so they were ideally located. They are about 30 or 40 miles north west of Atlanta.

When I got there I met D.K. Ledgerwood while he was talking about a Spyder with a customer. I spent the next hour talking to that same customer. I think he is going to buy the RT. :D

Well, D.K. was able to scavenge the part for me and send me on my way. He took the VIN and my info. Not sure BRP will cover under warranty or not as BRP was closed today. He is trying to get just the part that is the top clamp... If not he needs to order the whole assembly which may run $70+ at cost. So he has my credit card # just in case.

D.K. saved my behind today. I was going to divert direct for home on the interstate if I couldn't get a part. There was no way I could run the Smokies with a flaky clutch lever. This is the second dealer on this two week tour that came through for me and got me on my way fast.

Many thanks D.K. if you log on and read this. :2thumbs:

Tom ( Musicarcade), here is another dealer to add to the reputable list!

As a side note... That part is cast. It broke apart like good old pot metal.

Yes, another recommendation for DK at Extreme Propulsion in Cartersville!

When my local dealer told me I had to leave my Spyder for 2 weeks just to have a recall checked, Ext Propulsion did it the next day with no delays. Just 60 mi south of Chattanooga and well worth the trip!
