• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another Baja Ron Thread

OK so now I am a believer. I couldn't believe all the hype about the Baja Ron sway bar. Another forum member had a slightly used bar for sale so I bought it. Thanks Hubie!
Installed it today. The factory bar is WAY too small. I'm guessing two hours for the install. But I took the time to clean a LOT of dead bugs out of the radiators. Apparently grass hoppers are attracted to Spyders. Apparently it is a fatal attraction.
I was worried about getting the bike two feet up. Turns out it was easy. I raised one front wheel and placed a car tire/rim that I laying around under the bike tire. Wound up getting the bike tire almost 10 inches up. Did the same on the other side. Got the old bar loose. Raise one side high enough to remove old bar and put new bar in the frame. Lowered bike back onto the car tire. Only one side needed to be two feet up. And only for a couple minutes. Finished the install with the bike on the car tires/rims.

Also got to try out my homemade electric vest for the first time. 45 degrees today and the vest worked great.

BajaRon only makes good products believe me.

BajaRon (Ron), Spyderpops (Harvey) and Tricled (Reggie) are the three vendors that i deal with on a regular basis and trust all three to do whats right.

My favorite Dealer is PittBull PowerSports

There are several other great vendors on here but these three i deal with all the time.

Congrats..!!

nicely done...as they say if theres a will theres a way, and you found yours with the added test proving the hype. Glad the vest worked out as well..:clap:

I guess I couldn't believe that BRP did such a bad job on the sway bar. I am not insulting the entire bike, just the sway bar.

Not giving you a hard time. But your post reminded me of this song. It dates me but who cares! I don't! I'm old and there's not much I can do about it but keep having fun when the opportunity presents itself.

Besides, it is not wise to leave your skepticism at the door these days, if it ever was. 'The Proof is in the Pudding' is an old saying, but still just as valuable today as back then.

I am a skeptic myself. So no way I'm going to have a problem with it. It's all good! Glad you like the bar! :ohyea:
