• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Analog speedometer not zeroing and starts at about 11mph, so it's off that much from the digital speedometer on my resume limited. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it. Thanks

Yeah, the analog & digital speedometers (as well as the tach) never agree. I think the digital is more accurate both with the speedo & tach, based on the mph displayed on my GPS. Digital speedo is almost always within 1 mph of the GPS, the analog speedo usually indicates a slightly lower speed. Don't think there is a fix for this. Finless, DrewNJ? Any ideas?

Year and model of Spyder, please. Does analog speedo always read inaccurately? Have you tried the key walk? It worked for me last week when, for the first time ever my analog tach was reading higher than the digital one -- some kind of weird computer glitch.

Bummer..!!

you can get into the cluster but not for the weak hearted. Now if you can adjust or reposition the needle :dontknow:. My indicator arms are turning an embarassing shade of pink wish the key walk would fix that...:roflblack: if you do venture in or find the problem let us know.

There have been a recent rash of people reporting this issue on 2014 and 2015 RT's lately. Makes me wonder if there is some new issue cropping up.

Seriously... I have seen about 10 reports of this in the last month or so here and on Facbook.

My 2011 RT digital and analog speedo and tach match exactly.

You can always try "shaking things up"...
Switch it over to kilometers per hour, and see if the extra amount of "sweep" in that setting, helps to loosen it up!

The analog gauges recalibrate themselves every time you turn on the key. If it is off that much it could be the indicator needle is not at the zero stop when the key is turned on. I remember someone posting that the tip of the needle touched the dial face. Not letting it zero. He took the lens off and tweaked the needle and fixed it.

Something I noticed and I went back and looked at some of the complaints of this on the Facebook groups.

Most of them are on a 2015 RT (9 to be exact).

Seems in 2015 the ECM module was updated and is different than previous years.

I have a sneaky feeling either there is or will be a BUDS update to solve this.

FYI I counted 13 reports of this kind of thing on Facebook over the last 30 days. 9 on 2015 RT's, 2 on 2014 RTs, and 1 on a 2015 ST.
