• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Analog RPM Tach

:helpsmilie:Has anyone had a problem with RT-S spyder's analog tach? Mine stops working at times. I can ride for a couple of weeks than all of a sudden it stops working. Then finally it will be working again. About the time I schedule to take it into the shop it'll be working again. This has been going on for about 8 or 9 months. My digital tach works fine. Once in a while the analog tach starts working while I am driving it but it is off about 1500 RPMs compared to the digital tach. When I shut down and restart it'll read the same RMPs until the next time it stops.:helpsmilie:
 
Mine was off by a couple thousand rpm, and very erratic when my Spyder was first delivered. The dealer ordered a new cluster, but the tach healed itself. I guess it got scared. ;) It has been fine ever since. The two most likely causes are electrical bugs, or the needle sticking on the gauge face. Either would require a new cluster. Time to see the dealer.

RUBYS TAC WENT TO 7500 AND STAYED THERE, STOPPED SHUT IT OFF WENT BACK TO NORMAL. HAD IT IN FOR 600 MILE LUCKY IT STUCK WHEN THEY RODE IT WHILE CHECKING THE HORRIBLE VIBRATION, THEY SAY REPLACE TAC BUT VIBES ARE NORMAL, GUESS WHO IS GOING TO FIND THE BAD VIBE NOW , YES ME YOU CAN SEE THE MARK ON THE FACE WHERE IT RUBS, COVERED BY BRP HAVE THEM CHECK IT OUT:thumbup:
