• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. An update on Lamont - Jan '22 update post #139

Wonderful news, posted by Lamont himself.

SEE POST #111.

He shows a video. He is back in the shop and even went for a ride on his Triumph Rocket III. :firstplace:

Since 2005, I have gone through a lot of medical problems, but always kept a positive attitude and even laughed it off. Lamont, you have been to hell and back and although there have been set-backs, as you say, I can hear, in the video, that you too have kept your chin(s) up through most of that. Neither God or the devil wants us yet - maybe they want to see what we'll do next for laughs. So we are safe at home for now.
Needless to say, I am glad you made it through that dark night and are back at what you do best and better than most.
One more thing....They say things happen for a reason. You thought you were making all those installation videos for us and although you did help many, those videos are now helping you. That may be the real reason you were directed to make them.

Per Lamont:

"I got to see my scar for the first time today and no wonder I’m hurting. This thing is huge. To knarly to post in public.
I got some good deep sleep for a few hours and my kidneys are working very well but the other end not so good (tmi). I just did my lung exercises as that seems to be the only thing I’m really struggling with. I don’t want pneumonia or a collapsed lung. A guy coded just now and that woke me up. I must say that most of the liver transplant patients have been here for two weeks or more and not all of them are doing near as well as I am. I contribute that directly to your prayers and God‘s intervention.
We had a good prayer time with the chaplain on this floor and it was very encouraging for both of us. He is a pastor from Nigeria doing Gods work here in St. Louis.
I would ask that you would not tag my wife in this post as it’s blowing up her phone and she really needs her rest. We feel all your support and prayers and thank you from the bottom of our heart ❤️ Love you guys"
Hang in there!!!!!

Been praying for him as the days have gone on. Thanks for the update and prayers continue. I follow their facebook page to see when Joan posts. Be strong, Joan and Lamont.

That is awesome news!

It is great to see Lamont back in his shop.

Lamont keeping taking small steps forward.

Joan, and Lamont stay strong!

I am sending prayers to both of them.

Deanna

Anything out there on how LaMonster is doing these days. He was going through some challenges earlier.

Here is the latest post by Joan:
"Feeling beyond grateful at Lamont’s 6 month post liver transplant checkup in St. Louis. Thank you to all who have kept him in your prayers. ❤️
Lamonster is a fighter. He endured very rough heartbreaking times. We don’t even like to talk about it as we’re trying to focus ahead and not look back. It’s too painful for both of us.
I have to pinch myself that Lamont is healthy and by my side, my living miracle man. It’s going to take up to a year or more for him to fully recover from his surgery and medication adjustments, etc. Recently, in September they did find he had a blocked bile duct which was probably going on for a long time and causing his elevated enzymes which created much havoc and probably many high doses of unnecessary meds.
Always believe in good. Always keep the faith. Never give up. ❤️"

Latest news from Joan Wise Bryden :

Lamont is in the Recovery Room following another liver biopsy procedure this morning. (We’ve lost count as he’s had so many.) He is 8 months post liver transplant and still having issues with elevated liver enzymes, bilirubin, and more. We’re well aware of the fact the first year is a rough one trying to get back to normal health. My husband is very tough and a fighter but it’s still extremely hard on him. Let’s hope the liver transplant team can get to the underlying cause of this today. #lamonsterstrong #donatelife
