• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Prayers for Lamont

Short Update

I have not seen any updates on Lamont???? Just wondering how things are going..
BIG F and the NISR family

Lamont went home on Friday … so, at least he is out of the hospital. He has a long road to recovery, however, so please continue your chosen form of sending good wishes for his return to good health. Joan is keeping things pretty close to the vest right now, so I do not believe I should say more … I am sure, once things settle down a bit and Lamont is on the road to recovery, she will update herself.

I will say this again, please respect the Bryden's privacy and know that neither one of them is available for Spyder questions right now. Please do not copy or share outside this forum. Come here, or call Jacob at Lamonster Garage to get questions answered.

All the best ….. Ann :pray::pray::pray::pray:

I have not posted here until now, but I have been praying for recovery. I am so very pleased to hear that Lamont is home with the family.
May all of you accept and feel His Grace and love in the coming days, weeks and months during this recovery!

This is Joan:
Lamont got out of the hospital on Friday and we brought him home and he went straight out on the back deck to sit in the sun. I immediately left (his sister was here) and in one hour had purchased a recliner and arranged for it's delivery, grocery shopped, and picked up the dogs from the boarders. Lamont was weak from being in the hospital for a week and his weakened condition. But he started looking better Friday night, slept well, took a shower Saturday and he was up and moving around. He was discharged with the same 5 meds he was getting in the hospital. He looked great Saturday and the 3 of us watched a funny movie. Sunday he became nauseous and couldn't keep anything down. In view of the fact he hadn't eaten very much at all going now on 3 weeks along with not keeping food down, we went to the ER again. I just got home. They kept him. His sister flew home about noon time and it was sad for her to say goodbye to him there in the ER.

I think he will be fine. At this point we just have one more week until his big appointment at Barnes in St Louis next week. That's about all I got, I spent all day in the ER. Need sleep.

I'm continuing to pray for Lamont. He's a strong guy and whatever happens, I'm sure he'll bear it with grace and peace. May God grant him many years with us. cross-3772.gif prayer-3780.gif

Get well

Thinking of you guys every day. Hoping for the best! Rest up, think positive, and know you do have friends. Focus on being well. Everything else becomes secondary.

This is Joan and a brief update:
Lamont will be discharged from the hospital in the morning. Although he just had a brief episode where his blood pressure got very seriously high and it looks like it's going the right way now. I took him in Monday of this week and he spent 28 uncomfortable hours in the ER because the hospital didn't have available beds. It's far too much to type but by Wednesday he was looking worse than when I had taken him in. They did a procedure on him and pulled fluids from his abdomen area and sent some for cytology and culture. The fluid was infected and he was probably sick with this the entire previous week when he was in the hospital. They put him on clear liquid diet again, ordered more IV antibiotics, and he was even on oxygen for a short period when his O2 levels dropped during the night. He had a new hospitalist this time who actually seemed interested in his case and she ordered a GI doctor for her expertise and finally things are making sense. There's too much to type but the bottom line is this - Lamont will be discharged Saturday morning and I will take him home where he can rest without nurses and aides waking him up every 1/2 hour or so for vitals. From there he rests up and regains his strength so we can drive to St. Louis on Tuesday for his evaluation with the transplant team at Barnes Jewish Hospital on Wednesday. He's been sick ever since September 21st and really hasn't eaten much or kept it down since then. Please continue to keep him in your prayers, good wishes, whatever your belief system. My good friend, Tina, came up to stay over two nights to help me out and make sure I was getting my rest and eating.
I thank you all for your love and support during this hard time for us. Thanks also for no reported posts to keep my other job easy in trying to take care of the business until our beloved Lamonster is back! :)
