WELL IF IT ISNT THE OTHER SYNERGY GREEN SPYDER! ARE YOU GOING TO SPYDERFEST?I just completed a brp survey yesterday.
The gas mileage doesn't really matter that much to me with the spyder and as for the clothing, I do not have a problem with it. I own some brp, some joe rocket and a killimanjero jacket.
I don't know if everyone feels the same way that I do about BRP, but it seems like they feel somewhat less obligated to establish personal relationships with their clientele than other manufacturers. I am also a Victory owner, and they seem to always be asking of feedback. So I would like to start off, as an RT owner, with two serious complaints:
1. BRP clothing, specifically Can Am. Really? That's the best you can do? Follow the lead of every other manufacturers and produce some clothing we would actually want to wear! We will buy it, I promise!
2. RT gas mileage. It is abysmal. I don't know how these other people are getting 30+ mpg, but I can only assume they are driving empty bikes at 55mph. Real world riders get 25mpg at 70mph, and we need better than that!
Let's see what everyone else comes up with. I think BRP needs to engage with the customers more often.

Don't KNOWBODY have the clothes like Harley does.NOBODY.
I don't care about mileage as much as I care about range. I want to go 200 miles before looking for a station. If I got 20mpg and had an 11 gallon tank I would be happy, just give me range. :doorag:
The problem is if you travel with just about any other bike on a trip they will have about half a tank when you need fuel. I carry 2 gal. with me on long trips too but I would at least like to fill up at 180 miles and have a 200+ mile range if needed and I've been in places where I needed it. I had one trip I went 220 miles before I found a station. I coasted in to the pumps. nojokeThat's probably because you have a 200 mile plus butt, Lamont. Mine can't make 200. I start to get squirmy at about 135-140 so the range on the Spyder is perfect for me. Nonetheless, we never go outside the county without a spare gas can.
