I'll meet everyone in Vermont that will be coming up for the ride on Wednesday. I will then ride with the group back to Lake George after lunch at the Ice House. Lets hope we see more sunshine. Ride safe & have fun!

Woke up this morning to rain in Lake George and had second thoughts about joining up for the Spyder Ride. With a little pushing from Fencepost I was convinced we should head out and go for it. We met up with the group along with our 3 Furkidz and the weather was already clearing by the time we got there. We want to thank you all who planned and lead this ride, it was great! Beautiful scenery, good food and great company. Thanks also for letting Fencepost ride along on 2 wheels without giving him a bad time and for even letting him be in the photos.

THE RIDE, THE RAIN, THE LOST LICENSE PLATE

Just got in from Americade at 3:00 pm today....We had an awesome ride back from Vt. on Rt 17 " Vt's Dragon " I think it was liked by all....then the RANDY & HOLLY ...BBQ THAT REALLY rocked even though they made me eat burnt hot dogs :gaah: :yes::yes::yes:....:roflblack:....just kidding I luv' em. got to sleep in a tent for the first time in 50 years....not bad they didn't have air mattarases then....and I don't think anyone took pictures of my Spyder....Can't wait for S.I.T.A.,.....and love you guys had a great time.....Mike....:2excited::thumbup:

I think it should be called "The Dragon Slayer".

My gf asked what the burning smell was on the way down. I said I was probably riding my brakes. Wrong. The next day the smell continued. When I got home I checked to find the new HID ballast had fallen through all the wiring behind the cluster and landed on the motor along with the wiring harness with the sealed box shape object, which I believe was a relay. The relay and wiring were cooked. That was the reason I only had one headlight on Wednesday.

Made it back home!

Well I made it back home in Vermont from the Americade ride. I had a great time for sure! I made some new friends and reunited with some folks that I haven't seen in some time. We had lots of laughs and some good memories to talk about. Ron thank you again for giving me a place to stay while on my visit in LG. Randy and Holly, you were great hosts as well. Thank you! here are some pictures that I have from the trip. Enjoy!

The ride after lunch from the Ice House Restaurant in Burlington. A Scenic ride going through Rte 100 & Rte 17 in Green Mountains of Vermont. Thank You Mike (BLUEKNIGHT911) for suggesting this route and taking us there.

The BBQ back at the LGRV Park. Good job Randy, Holly and Ron! A fun time here with many laughs! OH....And BURNT HOT DOGS FOR MIKE! Mike liks them, THEY ROCK!
